What a Load of Rubbish

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH!

Beech Class have been learning about the environment. We are very worried because:

• If we make too  much rubbish we won't have room to bury it all.
• Cutting down trees and using too much electricity causes global warming
• Fewer trees also means less oxygen so people will become ill.
• Too much rubbish will make the world a horrible place to live in.
• We have learnt that we can reduce, re-use and recycle to help make our planet a better place.

We went to the tip at Wootton to see what happens to our waste after the dustbinmen have collected it.

We have been learning so much about this that we want to share it with everybody because we think it is important.
