Hello, its Ellie! I just wanted to say hello to all my friends in Year 1. I miss you all but hope to come to the Christmas disco next month. I have settled into my new school now and making friends. I love walking on the New Forest with my dog, Daisy.

I am new to summerfields, and i love it. My best friend is Emma. Summerfields is a really good school. I only started in September and I already love it! absolutely loved activity week thank you mrs stiles!!! looking forward to going to nodehill but will really really miss summerfields i wish i could stay for another few years!!

Hi to everyone at the school. I was at Summerfields for my college placement nearly 8 years ago - doesn't time fly. I am currently a Student (still) doing Level 3 Teaching Assistant and I am on placement at one of the primary schools in the area. The class I am in is big - there are 56 children in the year group (2) but they are split into the two classes that i am involved with. As I am writing this -it is snowing outside and it is lying on the ground! Hope everyone is happy and looking forward to Christmas! Will post again in New Year.

I had a great time at year 4 activity week. A big thank you to Mrs Stiles for making it such a wonderful week. I loved doing the Kayaking at Cowes on Wednesday and Starlight Express which was on Thursday. Kingswood I think was the best, We did Archery, Laser Quest, abseiling, Quad Biking, aeroball and Caving. There wasn't one that I hated, I loved them all.

Just saying hi to all my friends and hope that they all had a really fun weekend and bank holiday. I know Downside is a lovely school but I still don't want to leave summerfields!!!!! Just wanted to say that you have a great website here. I live in Croydon but two of my nephews live on the Island and go to - or have gone to this school. It is lovely to be able to see the environment in which they are, and to keep in touch visually with their lives this way. My nephew seems to feature quite heavily in the gallery at the moment ! I was a student at summerfields between 1979 and 1986. My headmisstress was Ms Hendy and my teachers were Mrs Summers, Mrs Campbell and Mrs O'grady. I moved to Australia in 1988. I am now a nurse working in the operating theatre. I have very fond memories of the Isle of Wight.

Great website - it looks interesting, informative and inviting. The Willow House looks brilliant. Thanks to Tim Johnson our resident artist for two days; and a special thanks to all the children who helped to create our new habitat.

I had a great time at Summerfields and I miss Mrs Stiles and all the other teachers.
